There are no forms to fill out on your own. No chasing down documents. Just tell your VA provider you want a Luggie or different FreeRiderUSA model, and we’ll do the rest.
The first step is to ask your primary VA provider for a referral to a mobility specialist.
A VA clinician will then document your service-connected mobility limitation and submit the documentation on your behalf. If eligible, it's time to choose your mobility scooter.

After the provider submits the necessary documentation and recommendations to the VA prosthetic department and you've been approved, it's time to choose your scooter with the VA Prosthetics & Sensory Aids Service (PSAS) team.
This is where you can choose one of the iconic Luggie models or the rugged all-terrain FR mobility scooters, depending on your lifestyle and needs.
